Company History

Built on Experience. Growing Through Vision.

Metropolis Real Estate Services was founded in 2014 by ToDario “Todd” Harris, CCIM, with a vision that went beyond simply buying and selling property.

The goal was to build a real estate company capable of helping individuals, families, entrepreneurs, investors, and organizations use real estate as a tool for growth, stability, opportunity, and long-term wealth creation.

What began as a real estate brokerage has grown into a multi-state real estate services company providing strategic solutions across Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia.

From Brokerage to a Complete Real Estate Platform

As our clients’ needs grew, so did Metropolis.

The company expanded beyond traditional residential transactions to serve clients across multiple areas of the real estate industry, including:

  • Residential Real Estate
  • Commercial Real Estate
  • Investment Properties
  • Property Management
  • Real Estate Development
  • Development Consulting
  • Site Selection
  • Construction and Property Improvements
  • Childcare and Educational Properties
  • Business and Investment Real Estate Consulting

This evolution allows Metropolis to serve clients at multiple stages of their real estate journey – from purchasing a first property to acquiring commercial assets, developing land, expanding a business, or building an investment portfolio.

Leadership Built on Real-World Experience

Under the leadership of Todd Harris, CCIM, Metropolis has developed a reputation for approaching real estate from both a transactional and strategic perspective.

Todd’s career has included residential and commercial brokerage, investment real estate, property management, development, construction, site selection, and specialized work with businesses and organizations.

Throughout his career, he has completed hundreds of real estate sale and lease transactions and worked with individuals, investors, entrepreneurs, corporations, nonprofits, churches, childcare organizations, and other property owners.

Specialized Expertise

Over the years, Metropolis has developed specialized experience working with properties that require more than traditional brokerage knowledge.

One of those areas is childcare and educational real estate.

Metropolis has helped childcare operators and entrepreneurs evaluate properties, leases, acquisitions, facility requirements, expansion opportunities, and real estate strategies.

The company also works with business owners, investors, developers, landlords, tenants, nonprofits, and organizations requiring strategic guidance when evaluating real estate opportunities.

Growing Across the Region

Today, Metropolis Real Estate Services continues to expand its presence across Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia.

Our growth reflects a larger vision for the company: to create a regional real estate platform where clients can access the knowledge, relationships, resources, and professional guidance necessary to move from an idea to an opportunity—and from an opportunity to an asset.

Whether the goal is to buy, sell, lease, invest, manage, develop, or build, Metropolis approaches every assignment with a commitment to strategic thinking and long-term value.

Our Vision for the Future

Metropolis Real Estate Services is continuing to grow its brokerage, investment, development, property-management, consulting, and professional-development capabilities.

As we expand, our mission remains centered on helping our clients recognize opportunities, make informed decisions, build valuable assets, and create lasting legacies through real estate.

Your Property. Your Vision. Our Expertise.
